Hi, I'm Kim. I'm a New York based artist who works mostly with wire to create 3D sculptures and sculptural jewelry, as well as some bronze and glasswork. I'm still in high school, but I've always had a love of art. My work focuses on recreating the human form and other organic elements through inorganic means.
This is my series of wire sculptures made through wrapping and crocheting metal wire of various thicknesses and colors. My work in spired by mythology and ballet and i usually try to capture both motion and emotion within my work.
These are fabricated metal pieces I have made over the years, as well as the glasswork I have done. My work tends to reflect a more dainty sensibility.
