Ken Macklin Sculpture

I have recently been using hand made shapes and forms using clay fired in a kiln. I don't glaze the finished works, I paint them with acrylic paint. I do this because I like to experiment and try different colours until I'm satisfied...... which sometimes takes forever ! The sizes of these new works are all household size, which is a result of the size of my kiln.

This is the first ceramic sculpture I made utilizing a base that supported and secured the sculpture. I believe it is also one of my better ceramic sculptures.
