Janice studied at Chisholm TAFE in the late ‘70s and has also been a Graphic Designer/Artist for over thirty years for publishing, display advertising, newspaper, real estate, printing and sign companies. She originally trained as a fine artist and has returned to making that the main focus of her business. During 2011 she completed a Diploma of Management course and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment which qualifies her to pass on her considerable graphic and fine art skills to interested students.
Janice has been a member of the Australian Guild of Realist Artists, the Victorian Artists Society, NAVA and subscribes to ArtsLaw.
Janice has completed a Diploma of Visual Art at Chisholm with high distinctions and will complete an Advanced Diploma of Creative Product Development in 2014. She was awarded the Oakhill award for excellence at the end of her diploma.
Janice does commissions covering a variety of subjects including beloved canine pets as well as cats and of course horses and is now successfully selling works to clients in the UK and interstate.

2010-2011 Artworks

During the 2010-2011 Year A variety of artworks have been produced using most mediums. They were mostly produced to submission to the monthly demonstrations at art guilds to the South East of Melbourne.
Several have won awards. Some are for sale.
Most of these works are also loaded on my web site at www.janicemills.net and my professional Facebook page (look for Janice Mills Fine Artist and click "Like") where I also publish regular editorials about the monthly demonstrations at local art guilds.

This is the fourth of a set of pastels based around the Cape Schanck area in Victoria, Australia. (Numbers 1 and III are now in the hands of private collectors)
