This piece was a statement on the commercialism of charitable donation solicitations. I took numerous containers of various shapes, and wrapped them in pre-addressed labels which are often sent as enticements to donate by various charitable and not-so-charitable organizations. I then shellacked all of the containers, arranged them and then photographed the same for this image, My foot in the photo is an homage to Johns.
This image was created using my photograph of a window on which images from watch ads were placed for a digital effect.
