Emily D. Cameron

Emily was born in the deep south. A girl from Jackson Mississippi who grew up in Boulder Colorado expanded her horizons at a young age. She began traveling at 14 when she went to Africa on Safari with the Massi tribe and continued her world exploration after high school when she studied abroad in Europe for a summer.

After graduating from St. Andrew's Sewanee School, Emily matriculated to the Savannah College of Art and Design where she began her formal artistic training. Later Emily continued her studies at the Atlanta College of Art for a more specialized and intensive educational process which provided her with a BFA with a concentration in photography.

After finishing her undergraduate studies Emily started the MFA Photography program at Parsons, The New School of Design. She is currently working on sculptures, paintings and different photographic processes using traditional and digital media.
