My route to glass art has been a convoluted path along many creative pursuits. Oil painting as a child, theatre at seventeen, video production in my twenties, heritage building renovation, 3D modelling and animation in my forties, and finally the glorious world of glass art in my fifties. My glass making skills largely emerged in the University of Trial and Error. I’ve learned much, but most importantly, over half a century on this planet has determined the focal point of my real passion; the artistic representation of some the most fundamental, beautiful and threatened organisms on Earth.
