Born in Hokkaido in 1923, Kasumi Matsumoto is a Japanese style painter who draws the beauty of nature, mainly still life including Japanese flowers, on a silk canvas, as well as a silk wall scroll. A collection book of her works ‘Kinu no michi’(Silk Road) was published in 2008.
