Marina Albornoz was born in Quito-Ecuador. She majored in Interior and Industrial Design in Firenze- Italy.
Her abstract paintings in acrylic on canvas, most of them in large formats, stand out due to their vivid colors and different technique where the paintings seem to be "three dimensional".
Marina presently lives in Miami Florida where she constantly participates in art exhibits in galleries in Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Miami Design District, Ft. Lauderdale, among others.
She does a lot of paintings by commission, working with designers and clients in order to create the perfect artwork in the right size and with the right colors for a specific space.
She is a promising artist of the new generation.
