Born in Ehime Prefecture in 1976, painter Yoshie Sakajiri is an artist of abandoned houses. Developing further, she has started painting “light bulbs” – which would have shone on the people, events and objects in the abandoned houses. She is active in various fields and would put on live performance when holding her solo exhibitions.
