Award winning multimedia Texas Artist Leona Pleasant has exhibited in more than 35 juried art shows and exhibits in the past 10 years in the United States. Her bold, bright and dramatic use of color, texture, materials and creative composition has made a very distinctive style with her works both on paper and on canvas, easily recognized by her patrons and collectors. Dramatic contemporary abstract canvas with acrylic pallet knife or brush to delicate color shading with watercolor on paper make her a very diverse and one of a kind artists. Living on Galveston Bay, many of her works represent the ocean, tropical palms and marine life.
