Maria is a visual artist and Interior Designer with a passion for expressive abstract botanical interpretations and landscapes. She has exhibited work internationally at various venues both virtual and at art galleries. She grew up in Puerto Rico with a strong Cuban family that influenced her assimilation into a new world. Maria has participated in curated shows and competitions, such as the Reno International Art Show. She graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA and also a BIA. In addition, she completed her Master of Teaching Art from Rhode Island College. Maria currently lives in Florida with her husband and three dogs.
