A portrayal of emotional anxiety occurring in my dreams where confusion runs wild and problems must be solved. There are barriers that prevent getting where I need to go, elevators that don't work, phones that I forget how to use, hazardous roads that I must drive on, and my car that is either stolen or towed somewhere and I must try to find it. There are many layers of acrylic paint, texture and collaged material. Designs in the painting were created with stencils as well as painted geometric shapes and organic forms interacting to reflect the disjointed nature of dreams.
