Ron Anderson’s recent photographs are explorations in alternative printmaking. They begin life as archival inkjet prints whose pigments are then transferred to a traditional watercolor paper. Built one layer upon another they become altered realities of the abandoned spaces he has photographed.

Ron Anderson received his BFA in Photography from Ohio University and is currently working towards his MA from UMKC. He is also a Full Time Photography Instructor at the Art Institutes International – Kansas City. His series entitled River of the Big Canoes has been exhibited throughout America and was featured on the internationally acclaimed photo blog, Lenscratch.com.
