New York based Linda Mason began her artistic career in Paris, working on major runway shows and photo shoots. Inspired by the great designers who she worked with such as Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano, Thierry Mugler, Rei Kawakubo and Yojhi Yamamoto, she deconstructed makeup and using unusual materials, she began an exploration to express an artistic vision. Using a Freestyle approach with body paints, loose powders and pigments and products other than normal makeup she ascended rapidly in her career. She became an influential force in her field for her innovative and creative work.   As her practice has expanded, Mason’s most impressive talents shine through in her painting, photography, and now Installations and film.  Mason’s vivid use of color, large brush strokes, incorporation of fashion, and, most of all, her ability to capture and emphasize individual particularities and beauty mark her artistic style as uniquely her own. She has exhibited extensively in Europe and the US.
