Mark Lloyd (born 1971 in Birmingham UK) is a British artist who works predominantly in painting. He was profiled on the Saatchi Gallery as part of the 'New Sensations' 2012 and shortlisted for the 2013 Griffin Art Prize. In 2008 Mark won the NIACE European Adult Learner of the Year Award. His work has received acclaim from renowned artists such as; Stuart Semple, and Sir Anthony Caro OM CBE who commented that; "these are the best drawings I have seen for years". Lloyd exhibited with Sir Anthony Caro in a group show, and his work was featured in the Independent Newspaper. In 2014 Lloyd's work was selected for the Amnesty International Art Exhibition and The Agora gallery August Art Exhibition New York.
