I created my first painting when I was 7 years old, I have not stopped painting since. Through the years I have had many set backs but not once did I loose sight of my dreams and my goals. Today I am a self employed professional artist.
My art is an extension of me. With each piece there is a connection, a moment shared. It tells a story and for each person there is a different story. I never say or explain what something in my art means or is because that is stealing from the viewer a special gift. Art is meant to be interrupted by the individual viewing it. My art brings me so much joy and happiness and I dearly hope it brings you joy as well. Art has always been there for me, when I had no one to lean on or turn too, I had my art. I do not live to create but create to live.
I love painting people, face hold so much and tell such a wonderful story. This portfolio is a collection of a few of the faces I have painted thus far.

I am a realist painter but I also understand the importance of letting it all go sometimes. This is something I really struggle with and I find painting in the abstract to be one of my greatest challenges. Letting go of all the stress that surrounds me and just painting, living in the moment.
