My formal Art studies commenced inthe early 1980"s when I completed A three year art Certificate at Queensland University of Technowlogy. Brisbane Qld. Later Batchelor of Arts (visual Arts ) majoring in Painting & Sculpture.

Margaret Goldsmith"s paintings range from the expressionistic, to the abstract to the semi-realistic. She uses a simplistic and humourous approach to portray her subjects.

'Through my paintings I attempt to capture a language that
does not know stillness, only motion. My work is full of happy predictions, vital paint colours, fresh and vibrant moments of intense pleasure.

Margaret has won numerous Art Awards and had many solo
exhibitions, In 1994 she opened her own art gallery to exhibit her work.
