I have been doing watercolor for about a year now, and I have learned so much, and grown in my art immensely.
I am still building this porfolio, but it all began as a project for my AP arts course. I chose this topic because, growing up in Uganda, I have witnessed the love and joy that children have in their daily lives, and I wanted to portray that in my art.
This drawing was more of a quick one, it only took a few hours, but I love how some of it is left in sketch form, while the faces are more detailed.
This water color painting was very time consuming, and the face of the mom took a lot of trial and error to get right, but finally I succeeded.
