David J. Negrón graduated with a Bachelor of Professional Arts with Distinction from Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, California. He has conducted many seminars and lectures throughout the U.S. and has also appeared on several personal profiles in print media and television. He has received many awards and recognition from numerous one-man shows, exhibitions and special television appearances.

His contemporaries hold him in high esteem and have compared him to Sargent painting with Monet's palette. They recognize his rare talent as one of the great American Modern Impressionist. David is collected by many influential art connoisseurs, including the Disney family and Steven Spielberg. His paintings and murals are on exhibit at Disneyland and Euro-Disney, France.
