Location: France

My father was the self starter of ma passion for painting. He was specialized in watercolors paintings. At the age of twenty, I was registered in several art schools and I worked on varied materials, such as sculpture, painting or drawing.
I fell in love with photography when I discovered Man Ray. I met a professional
photographer with who I learnt a technical know-how, and then I began to lear that can match the atmosphere and the meaning of my photos.

The colours of soul

here is only one truth possible. The truth lies in the issues of the unconscious. This ability tries giving people reason and access to one's feelings and to truth that may well be chosen.
Paintings have a major influence on my photography, in particular painters such as Hopper, Peter Klasen, or Dali brought me to an intellectual and plastic reflection concerning the evolution of my photos. The ample use of saturated colors, the lighting effects(play of light), the contrasts, the use of black and white, the direction, arouse a dreamlike atmosphere which could provoke the emotion, the disorder by calling out or maybe question the spectator to wonder about his own dreams, his fantasies, his fears or his frustrations.

"the colors of the soul", this sequence is a continuation of the previous ones. One can observe the dreamlike manner, the concerns of the human being, like the passage of time, loneliness and a quest for identity ...
