Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1942, this pressed flower artist has shown works at solo exhibitions while teaching at a local civic center and other facilities. Instead of leaving photographs and other works as is, Sachiko Fujimoto sublimates the subjects of these works into fanciful and unique pieces. Her pieces convey a female gentleness along with a vibrant and cheerful character.
