Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1937. Hatada is a glass artist. She works with sandblasted laminated glass to express various natural themes such as the four seasons and has been called the Émile Gallé of Japan. Hatada has held solo exhibitions both in Japan and overseas. She is also active at art fairs.
