Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1974, Miyata is active as a flower artist. Although she aims to create fantasy and scenes which look as if they come out of a fairy tale, filled with flowers seemingly on the verge of metamorphosis, Miyata does not delineate the world in which her pieces reside, leaving their interpretation up to the viewer.
