Born in 1938, Tsuyoshi Misaka is an unconventional wood sculptor who has worked as a nuclear emergency preparedness expert at the Japan Nuclear Energy Research Institute (J.N.E.R.I.) . His works embody a wealth of ideas and defy definition within existing boundaries, at times playing with humor or striving for the real. At the core is a love for humanity.
