Born in 1980 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. While studying classical dance in 1992, she met Argentine Artist Alicia Maffei and began studying with her. In 1996 she became her Drawing Assistant and worked with her through 1999. During that time, she was accepted at the Fine Arts Institute Prilidiano Pueyrredon, where she studied from 1998 until 2002.
She also studied under Argentine Artist Miguel Ángel Bengochea, and later attended the art studio of contemporary Artist Eduardo Medici.
She moved to Chicago in 2003. She’s shown her Art in several galleries throughout the city and was represented for many years by a gallery in the River North area in Chicago.
In the most recent years, she moved her studio to Evanston and has become part of its growing art scene since.
This is my most recent body of work, created during the times of Coronavirus. At times grateful for such an unusual and rare opportunity to give most of my time to creating art, at times struggling and feeling overwhelmed; all these works are a reflection and consequence of this particular times.
This is a portrait of my daughter, the first in a series of portraits using ballpoint pens.

Earlier on during isolation, I was compelled to draw hands; my hands. Ballpoint pens became my favorite medium, and red seemed to take over.
Looking at everyday objects and being surrounded by them so much more than usual, this was my first attempt on a still life. Used various color pens for it.
