Urban Flora

Intrigued by the ephemeral and ever-changing nature of street art I am employing traditional art techniques with street art aesthetics creating images that reveal a layer through a multi layered process of torn layers of paper and multi layers of paint. The series Urban Flora is inspired by the oasis that NYC parks provide against the urban backdrop skyscrapers fragmented and abstracted created on a grid each work is composed of 2-20 panels.
