Born in 1990 in Cairo, Egypt, Ayda Mansour grew up in an artistic surrounding, with an internationally renowned photographer as an uncle and a grandmother who was a curator, artist, interior decorator, gallery owner and art promoter. Mansour was exposed to the art world at a young age. She attended a private American school in Egypt; Cairo American Collage where she received her first awards ‘Artist of the year’ and ‘Highest Art Achievement’. Following her graduation in 2008, she moved to Montreal, where she continued her studies at Concordia University, graduating with distinction in Bachelor of Fine Arts.
