John Anglim is an award-winning artist, photographer and designer who works in a variety of media. His work has appeared nationally in such publications as PhotoMethods, Creativity, American Institute of Graphic Arts, Arts & Crafts,
and Art Directions. He was formerly the Creative Director for Grand Valley Magazine and operates Resource Design. A graphic design and marketing firm. He is a member of: National Collage Society and Rocky Mountain Collage Society
In Texas, his work has been included in shows at the Marie Berger Gallery, William Campbell Contemporary Art, Off the Wall, Strings Gallery, and in many corporate and private collections.
In Colorado, he has shown in Grand Junction at the Art Center and 13 Photography Gallery, The Gallery B&B, Frameworks Gallery, The Oakley Gallery, The Convention Center, City Hall, and The Blue Pig Gallery.
Street photography is endlessly interesting to me. Every city, large or small has so many stories to tell. Here are a few of them.
I was shooting a parade in Ft. Worth, TX and discovered that the people watching the parade were far more interesting.
In cities all over the world, spontaneous collage occurs when posters and signs are pasted on top of one another, then ripped down. The rain, sun and wind do the rest.
