Janet Ruhe-Schoen is a collage artist living in Dutchess County, New York. She was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, lived for many years in South America (Peru and Chile); resided in various regions of the U.S. and traveled in Russia, Ukraine, Israel, France, Spain, Canada, England and more. She is married with four children and three grandchildren. Currently she's collaging a series of urban landscapes born of the colors and shapes of photos, dreams,memories, and living impressions of her various homes on earth. Most are still limited to paper with some mixed media colorations, but gradually will be transposed to fabric and embellished with thread, beads, etc.
These images are some urban landscape collages, a series currently in progress. Ultimately selected ones will be on fabric and embellished like Urban Landscape, South America.
