Albro’s work has a depth of layers that matches her need to allow a work to be beautiful, as well as spiritual.  She moves from the simplicity of geometric forms to the complexity of the natural and constructed world and the actual physicality of her media: beeswax, ink, and oil; textiles and thread; collected old papers and letters and handmade Himalayan papers.
