I am an self-taught artist from the Republic of Moldova, and from an early childhood I had a strong interest in painting. That was the main reason I started studying at an Art School, but soon abandoned it because in that time I didn’t see my future in Art. 18 years later, after moving to London, I decided to re-enter the world of art, this time professionally. I realized that you can be an artist at any age and that art can go beyond school. I started to learn and learn as many tips as possible about canvas art. Each painting has a small story, and many of them came from some inspirations on the net, all of which are unique. It impresses me how and in how many forms an image can take life. A painting painted by me is a splash of color that turns any ordinary wall into a masterpiece. I use the highest quality acrylic/oil paints to create the canvas paintings.
And they all have my personal signature as MG, from my name, Mariana Gumeniuc.
