Toni M. Elkins has won over 150 National Awards. She has been elected to signature memberships of 18 societies, including National Watercolor Society, Watercolor West, Watercolor USA Honor Society and Nautilus Fellowship: International Society of Experimental Artists. She received Life Membership for acceptance into 10 exhibits: Southern Watercolor. Ms. Elkins also received Purple Sage Society in Texas Watercolor Society. She was awarded a GOLD MEDAL in Western Colorado Watercolor Society for acceptance into 10 National exhibits. This year she was invited to be one of the judges for ArtFields Junior in Lake City, SC and also the sole juror and gallery presenter in Union County Arts Guild Annual Exhibit. Ms. Elkins has taken the TOP AWARD in San Diego Watercolor International and recently was winner of The Lamar Advertising Billboard Competition (for the second time). In 1000, Governor Jim Hodges awarded her with The Elizabeth O'Neill Verner Award for her contributions to SC art.
These art creations have all been created within the last three years. I am working on my art as therapy since my husband has suffered a stroke. It has served as my life-saver. I cherish sharing my art with others to decipher in any way they choose. Art is "In the eyes of the beholder"! Behold & enjoy!
