mARTin Kainer – Artist Biography
mARTin Kainer was born on March 11, 1984, in Tyrol,
Austria. At a young age, mARTin Kainer discovered his passion for drawing,
which quickly became an integral part of his life. Early on, he showed a desire
to capture and express the world around him in a creative way.
Despite his talent, there were recurring phases of
reflection in which he temporarily put his artistic work on hold. However,
these pauses also served as periods of inner realignment, which had a lasting
influence on his creative development.
In parallel to his artistic endeavors, mARTin Kainer
pursued a technical career and completed training as a mechanical engineer.
This professional direction eventually led him to design and build modern
grills, a craft in which he could combine his technical expertise and
creativity. The connection between technical precision and artistic creativity
is particularly evident in this work. Thanks to his engineering education, he
is able to create functional objects that are not only technically sophisticated
but also aesthetically pleasing. His design grills embody this symbiosis of

A defining event in mARTin Kainer’s life marked a
turning point in his artistic career: on January 27, 2022, he was involved in a
car accident. This incident deeply affected him and gave him the impulse to
pick up his pencil once again. The trauma and reflection on the accident led to
the creation of his “first new work” titled THE ACCIDENT. This piece
marks the beginning of a new phase in his artistic development.
Without formal training in fine arts, mARTin Kainer is
a self-taught artist who has acquired his skills independently over the years.
His works reflect his personal journey – a blend of technical thinking and
emotional depth. One of the most defining elements in his works is his lifelong
fascination with dinosaurs, which he integrates into everyday scenes. These
prehistoric creatures serve as symbols of avengers, protectors, or evil forces
in his art, giving his pieces a unique, often humorous, and macabre dimension.

After much reflection and artistic evolution, I've crafted a new style:
NeoChronism. This unique art form fuses current social themes
with symbolic elements from the past—often portrayed by dinosaurs,
embodying human emotions, fears, and contemporary challenges.
NeoChronism is my bridge between past and present, captured
in powerful, emotional images.

NeoChronism – “Neo” for modern, current topics, and “Chronism” for the time bridge to the past.This powerful pencil masterpiece, which I worked on for two years, depicts Arnold Schwarzenegger in his best form, with every muscle contour meticulously detailed. In the background, a small baby T-Rex is breaking out of its egg, while lightning bolts emanate from it and move towards Arnold. The lightning symbolizes the raw energy and untamed potential that is unleashed through hard work and determination.
The artwork captures the struggle and determination required to achieve greatness in life. It is a visual metaphor for transformation – from a vulnerable beginning to the unstoppable machine that Arnold represents. By connecting these two powerful symbols, a deeper message is conveyed: It is the will to come back stronger and better that makes us who we are.
Created amidst personal challenges and losses, this image reflects the artist’s journey of going through pain and adversity to ultimately emerge stronger. It is a tribute to the human spirit and the unwavering determination to grow and triumph despite all obstacles.
