Julie Turconi est une artiste visuelle autodidacte et éclectique : photographie, dessin au fusain, encre et mélanges de médiums. Elle est aussi traductrice, conteuse-effeuilleuse de vie, écrivaine et poète. Elle pratique différents arts martiaux : karaté, Tai Ji Quan et Qi Gong, et elle est formée en soins énergétiques (Quantum-Touch®).Dans chacune des facettes de son travail, elle se plaît à saisir les « petits riens » de la vie quotidienne et à les transfigurer. Elle rend ainsi hommage à l’énergie primordiale présente dans toute chose : le Qi.

Julie Turconi is a multidisciplinary, self-taught artist working in painting and mixed media, photography, drawing, storytelling, and writing (poetry, haikus, short stories, and a novel – so far).
She’s been practising various martial arts for more than a decade: karate, Qigong, Tai Ji Quan. Her artwork reflects her way of life and philosophy: all of her creative work is a tribute to the Qi, the lifeforce energy that forms part of everything.
