For the title, I borrowed part of the text from the Bible: Our daily bread. Still life photography brings me peace, balance and a meditative mood. I shoot analog like a piece of bread concept. Bread is a wonderful material for creating still lifes. And our daily biblical bread is also a symbol of connection with something that transcends us.
I shoot with a medium format camera, sometimes 6x9cm format, mostly 6x4.5cm format. I use a Cambo or Mamiya 645 camera. Enlargements are made on Ilford baryta paper in a size of approx. 40 x 30 cm. The enlargements are framed with brown paper adhesive tape due to drying on glass.
