Ursa Schöpper is producing experimental, digital and abstract photography, is searching for the inner structural principles of digital photography, and trying to discern what separates it from analogue photography. A photography is first an image created with light. Digitally stored and computer aided photography goes beyond this, using mathematical and physical structures as its foundation. A digital photograph is a physico-mathematical order system that can be artistically reconfigured. This process creates virtual images, as the potential is always present that could not be perceived beforehand.
