Richard was born and raised in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts. He began creating art at age three. He attended private day school, private boarding school and completed both a BA in Fine Art and an MBA. He has lived in New Mexico and New England.
Richard has lived in both New England and New Mexico. He has been inspired by the places and people that contribute to the history and culture of both these regions.
