Building on her many successes as a fine artist, illustrator, graphic designer, and PhD psychologist, Jana Rentzel entered a two-year intensive training in the classical techniques of the Old Masters, based on the curriculum of the Florence Academy of Art. She now emerges as one of this country’s preeminent figurative and portrait artists. Her paintings combine a modern color palette with classical painting techniques with the intention of reinstating the role of beauty in art.
