Janis Cornelius graduated from Chelsea College of Art and Design in 2011. She paints landscapes and seascapes of the UK and Antigua. Her paintings represent facets of the Caribbean, conveying intense colour and sharpness of light and evokes memories, emotion and tranquility.

Janis works in oil and watercolour other media include life drawing and painting in charcoal, pen and ink and occasionally acrylic.

Her work also includes riverscapes and cityscapes of London.

Janis' current work involves painting a series of portraits in oil of Londoners in their place of work.
