Jonas is a freelance make up artist living in Hong Kong. She obtained Diploma in Drawing and Painting and Advance Diploma in Fine Arts (Merit) at the School of Continuing and Professional Studies, Chinese University of Hong Kong. Then she was awarded Diploma in Photographic and Fashion Make up in CIBTAC, United Kingdom.

Hoping perseverance and crafted hands could bring her to make up career, she quit her full time job as Office Manager. A setback in make up career in 2019 turned to a calling to painting again.

She focuses on large scale portraits as she feels that human faces are complicated and hold a lot of stories behind. Fauvism and Expressionism have a great impact in her work. The combination of bold colors and brushwork has brought her a unique style of expressive portrait. The blending of abstract background and the protagonist is intriguing and represents impermanence and fragility of life.

She won Biafarin prize from Prisma Art Prize in Italy and her works were chosen as finalist in Artsdot in Sweden, Art Next Expo in Hong Kong and Artexpo New York in USA. She also received Honorable Mention Award, Artistic Excellence Award and Finalist Award from various art competitions from France, Italy and USA. She has participated group exhibitions in Hong Kong and online juried exhibitions in Italy, Canada and USA. Her featured article could be seen in Sing Pao Daily in Hong Kong, Juliet in Italy and Observica in Canada. Her work was published in Artistonish in Canada.

Moreover, she had her first Solo Exhibition – “Walking Through Colors” online and first picture book "Sketching Dreams" in 2020. She has just finished “Diversia: People 2021” online in Canada, “Vitality · Vibrancy” in Hong Kong and will have upcoming exhibition in Artsdot in Sweden.
