Andrew Dykes is a New York based artist in New York finding new ground in the merging dichotomies of Masculinity V. Femininity. He graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2011 with a B.F.A. in Painting. He creates hyper-realistic portraits where he uses charcoal paintings to capure large depictions of one's identity. He is also beginning to explore and delve into the abstract Op Art on newer pieces: where he uses silver string to weave into canvas to create elaborate Art Deco inspired work.
