Aramis Kaktus (1965 - 2015) was a scenographer, spatial designer, and artist. Traveling the world throughout the previous three decades, he related to his identity as a nomad, lived, observed and appreciated the spectacular cultural diversity that surrounded him. His curiosity exposed him to experiences spanning from the land of the spinning Sufi dervishes, the dense European cultural scene, the wonders of the Far East, and the cosmopolitan Americas. His art is influenced by topography, graphic design, symbols, icons and ancient alphabets. His work has been exhibitied in the desert - a gallery without walls -, in selected museums, and in private galleries in many places around the world.
