Harry has had an interest in photography from a young age, using a Kodak brownie camera to record his
first photographs at age 8 and learning darkroom techniques during college. He has studied with master
black and white photographers Bruce Barnbaum, Jay Dusard, and Don Kirby. He has had 3 solo exhibits
and more than 7 two person exhibitions in Washington State, and his work is included in numerous
commercial and private collections in the US and Japan. Harry has also co-taught photographic workshops
throughout the Western US, and his work is included in gallery permanent collections in La Conner WA
and has affiliation with galleries in Port Townsend WA.
Goldstrom’s camera of choice is a 4x5 Linhof and still prefers doing his work using traditional film
