Visual artist from the University of Antioquia and Master in Plastic and Visual Arts from the National University of Colombia, where the thesis developed in the master's program received Laureate Distinction.
Her process has led her to recognitions such as being a winner of creation incentives in Bello, Antioquia, in 2017 and 2020, and being the winner of the 40th National Visual Arts Salon of the national culture awards from the University of Antioquia in 2012.
She currently carries out her artistic work at the La Hoja workshop (@lahoja_taller), located in the Colombia neighborhood, and works as a university professor at the Luis Amigó University. Her latest exhibitions have been at the La Hoja workshop with her solo exhibition within the framework of Colombiamoda 2024; at the Museum of Antioquia in the Estridencia/Emanaciones 2023-2024 exhibition, where the exhibited work became part of the museum's collection; at the FIC in Tunja, Boyacá, 2023; at the MAMM with Truequeart in 2022 and 2023; at the Museum of Antioquia in 2021 with New Talents in Art from the Chamber of Commerce; in Thesis Project 2021 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Bogotá and on Google Arts & Culture with the works of the master's thesis; at the Binational Performance Encounter "Colombia VS India" 2021; the virtual international exhibition of Contemporary Graphic APARICIONES 2020; participation in the ArtBo fair in Bogotá, Colombia, 2019, the same year as her solo exhibition at the Alliance Française in Medellín. In addition, since 2014 she has worked with the Alegoría Laboratorio Creativo collective, developing different projects, such as the Illustrated Letters Illustration salon, which is in its tenth version.
