I have been practicing photography for over 40 years in the field of fashion and advertising. I worked for many years with the Getty Images agency.
The photographs that I present are made with a black light or Wood light projector. This near ultraviolet light is absorbed and re-emitted as visible light by fluorescent substances, it also brings out the whites of synthetic fabrics. It is often used in discotheques. My approach is to stand out from this party world and create somewhat magical images with a soft aesthetic.
