Location:

My professional background is in university administration.  My interests in photography focus primarily in photo manipulation abstract photography.  However, I also enjoy more traditional photography focused in architecture, travel, animals, and landscapes.  My photography has received awards for my entries to the IPA, Px3,  Bifa, Annual Photo Awards and others, including several online art galleries. In addition, I am the author of two published mystery novels for which I designed the cover art. Some of my early photography accompanied the pages of an online literary magazine.

My professional background is in university administration. I am an amateur photographer whose interests are primarily in abstract and experimental, modern art photography. I also enjoy more traditional travel-related photography focused mainly in the areas of architecture, nature and landscapes. Some of my early photography accompanied the pages of an online literary magazine. In addition, I am the author of two published mystery novels for which I designed the cover art.

Textured Vortex “Textured Vortex”

This image was developed from my first attempt to produce a 3D photograph. To keep the total megabytes manageable, I decided to use this version that maintains some of the 3D effects. By adding a different color combination and texture, the final result is the kind of dreamy image that I had hoped to create.

Bridge to the Stars “Bridge to the Stars”

This photo was created by using an old photo of a wooden bridge that I crossed repeatedly while jogging on a trail near the San Francisco Bay. The interesting stars and colors of in the night sky were taken from another photo.
