I work with all types of collected -- mostly recycled -- paper and books, altering books with knife, paint, and collage.
My blank books are made from recycled or thrifted papers, with hand-sewn signatures. Art-filled journals are often made using discarded, out-of-date, and thrifted books, which are altered to provide a suitable strata for paint and collage.
