Michele Kramer was born in Montreal, Quebec. As a teenager, her artistic abilities were already showing. While studying drama, she also modeled at the Beaux-Arts of Montreal. In the 60’s she worked briefly as an actress and, for many years, in communications and public relations, all the while keeping up with her painting. Then, in 1989, her artistic career takes on a new dimension. Art workshops with Professor José Miguel of the Beaux-Arts in Paris, France...two shows at the Canadian Embassy. Then, in 1995, back in Canada, courses and workshops in drawing, watercolor and oil painting with well-known art teachers. From this point on, her artistic career flourishes. Solo and group exhibitions throughout Canada, Europe and the USA. Participation in dozens of symposiums and art meets every year Her figurative style, bordering Impressionism, becomes more and more defined as she is inspired by the beautiful landscapes of the Eastern Townships in Quebec. Her favorite subject is undoubtedly flowers: in the garden, in the fields, in pots and planters. They enhance her creativity through their various shapes and colors.
