I create what the obvious cannot explain. With that said, I am Messiah Joshua, A Post-Recession Expressionist. Art to me, is what brings out the real me, without any fear. In my work, I test theory of colors and subject placements. When I think left, I do right. As much of a perfectionist as I am, I don't let every detail drive me insane because my style is organic and when I feel it, it's always right! My techniques and color schemes speak their own language and tell viewers a story through their eyes. By allowing the colors to speak to you, you find yourself speaking back and answering questions sitting in the back of your mind.

I've learned the ropes by absorbing information and everlasting inspiration from my Founding Fathers: Rothko, Basquiat and Warhol. The mixes of the art and business have allowed me to make my own history to be written in the books of future generations. The feeling of absolute confidence makes my art that much more exhilarating. I have surpassed levels of fear that not too long ago, I struggled with. Categorizing is always dangerous, but we are judged one way or another, aren't we? It is our interpretation of us that gravitates people in our direction. Art is my platform to share with the world one of my many gifts, to pass a smile onto a million faces.
