Ludmila Schnaider is a holder of Bachelor's Degree from The Wizo Academy of Design & Education, (Israel) specializing in a Fine Art Photography. Her creativity encompasses all genres of studio photography. The participant and winner of numerous international competitions and photo exhibitions in Canada, Israel, Hong-Kong, Australia, USA. "Art always has opened up new views, new perspectives, thus helping the viewer to understand present. The main idea has constantly remained unchanged - understand today's world around us and find oneself in this world. As a photographer, I choose to explore and depict the world and its intricacies through the lens of my camera. Its beauty, pain and greatness - from the moment of conception and growth, through wars and struggles, and on to the ultimate departure - and the penultimate question of what is left of us when we are back to whence we came. I have done art-photography since 2000, authoring projects and asking myself and all the spectators these questions through my various works - What is the mission of our living? Ever since I got into photography, those questions have been the driving force and inspiration behind my work. “Women”, a prize winning photography Fine Art Project from 2004 in Hong Kong, is as relevant today as it had been then, over 10 years ago. The compositions “La Grande Baigneuse”, with a hospital bedridden girl, and “Proserpine”, where a young Jewish girl is clutching a grenade, are both examples of my asking those very poignant questions, daring the observer to answer. This project has been presented by me at Artexpo New York, The Artist Project and Photo Independent Art Fair Los Angeles. Also it won international competition in Gong Kong.
